Photographer & Ceramicist
For me, creativity is a way of bringing intention into life. Behind the camera or at the pottery wheel, I approach each moment with curiosity, presence, and the hope of creating something that brings a little joy into the world. Photography allows me to connect deeply with people and capture authentic, meaningful moments. Pottery gives me a tactile, playful way to explore form, possibility, and the simple pleasure of making.
Each time I open a pot on the wheel, I see it as opening myself to opportunity, growth, and whatever good might come my way. My hope is that when you hold or use one of my bowls, mugs, or vessels, you feel the care, love, and gentle energy that went into it — a little spark of joy and intention in your day.
I’ve been drawn to photography since my teenage years, studying at Clark College and the Hallmark Institute of Photography, and working for many years capturing portraits, weddings, products, and aerial images. Portraiture remains my favorite, because there is so much to be seen, felt, and understood in a single image — and so much to learn about another human being.
Outside of the studio, you’ll often find me in nature, flowing through yoga, experimenting with clay, or spending time with my family. These experiences ground me and inspire the work I create.
Whether through photography or pottery, my intention is the same: to connect, to share, and to bring a little bit of beauty, care, and joy into the world.
